Treatment Plan

What made this case different?

A key aim of modern root canal treatment is to preserve as much healthy tooth structure as possible. Rather than creating a large access opening, Dr Ridhwan was able to create a very small, carefully planned access into the tooth.

Treatment

Using an operating microscope and advanced endodontic technology, Dr Ridhwan was able to locate and treat the root canals through this minimal access. During treatment, an additional MB2 canal was identified and successfully treated.

The minimal access approach allowed the root canal system to be thoroughly cleaned while preserving more of the natural tooth, which can benefit the long-term strength and survival of the tooth. Treatment was completed in a single visit.

Minimal Access

A very small, carefully planned access preserved healthy tooth structure.

Operating Microscope

Magnification and advanced endodontic technology allowed the canals to be located and treated.

MB2 Canal Identified

An additional MB2 canal was found and successfully treated.
